Don't fuck about, get down the emergency dentist and get the fucker out.
I ponced about for 10 years with a nasty wisdom tooth and it got filled more than Jordan on coke. Was a right pussy about an extraction and the pain and blood and all that.
How wrong I was. The truth, and this is the truth, the injection to numb the area took longer than the extraction, the whole procedure was done in less than 100 seconds from her filling her syringe to me getting up.
That fucker gave me bad intermittent pain for a decade and not a problem since.
After she was done she started talking about something called 'dry socket', which actually gave me a lob on.

INSIST on having emergency dental treatment.

Hugh Jargon - thats exactly like me! it comes on around 5ish...what the fuck is that all about? its been going on for about a week now, i wake up and can feel it a little bit but it soon goes and i get on with day then about 5pmish is fucking starts - how the fuck does my teeth know its dinner time or evening?!

I feel you're pain. I had compacted wisdom teeth. Weird thing is during the day the pain would ease off...,then at about 16:30 it would start. So painful I couldn't sit down....used to,pound the streets for hours. I had to wait 4 days till I had them out.
You poor sod.

I used to get a long needle and push it in the gum by the wisdom tooth and then try to suck the blood away (it releases the blood which takes the pressure of then pain goes ) but I am rock HARD! !

If all else fails, as a last resort there is another although somewhat radical, however permanent solution that solved similar circumstances to your good self.
From memory as I was only a nipper at the time, I complained of toothache and my old man after inspection of said tooth, placed some cotton and tied it around my tooth with other end to the living room door knob, before I could say Jack Robinson the door was slammed shut and the offending Hampstead was ripped from its socket never to offend again, and not a drop of claret on the carpet, marvellous.
Worth considering as will save you an injection and a bullseye at the Dentist.

Clove oil works, nature uses it too and some animals will actively seek the raw ingredients for its medicinal properties.
I actually use a mega high quality one in a fishing bait.
One thing, don't scrimp on it, alot of cheaper essential oils are cut.

If it is an absess you will need antibiotics though. See your dentist.

Don't know if you ever saw that film with Dustin Hoffman (I think it was "The Marathon Man") where the Nazi war criminal & former dentist drills a hole into the guys tooth to expose the nerve in an effort to make him talk
He has "Tincture of Cloves" in one hand to alleviate the pain & a drill in the other to make the pain more intense. Horrible!
